“The Drug King” is an amazing film, directed by none other than Lee Nguyen. The film stars Kim Sung-Gyung who plays the role of David Storey, a crack addict who turns into the local drug kingpin. The movie tells the story of Storey’s rise and fall, who was the kingpin of the drug trade in the latter part of the 1980s. ดูหนังซับไทย It’s one the best films of the year and shows how media can sensationalize stories before they have been thoroughly studied. The film opens in 1980 when the US government begins an investigation into the increase in the use of drugs in the country. Two undercover cops, Det. Kim and Capt. Sam, are assigned to the case. They soon learn that the kingpins are extremely organized.


Then they discover that the drug lord, Cho Soon, has an underground meeting spot that uses to distribute huge quantities of heroin and cocaine to dealers across the country. Cho Soon, the drug lord, promises that he will stop the drug from being introduced to the American marketplace. The authorities were successful in stopping the gang when the US government accidentally stole drugs from the South Korean consulate. The drug kingpin and his associates were detained, and the authorities left it up to the cops to find the drug lord.

Soon after the bust, the police are able to track down the drug king and take them to prison. The movie jumps ahead 11 years, when the South Korean president visits Korea. The two are introduced and become lovers. They decide to free North Korea from communism. However, once they arrive, they discover that the drug lord has already left. They now have to work together to end the drug war for good.

When the film ends the action shifts to New York City, where the two police officers are put on trial for the alleged murder of the drug king. Lee Do-Hui plays the principal character, Kim Kwon-soo, better known as Kimbo and was played by Kwak Dieng. Two cops talk on the phone, and the film shows them going after the drug lord in a massive nightclub. They arrive at the right moment to save President Obama from being shot. The police department, impressed by their efforts, gives they bail so they can be part of the investigation into the location of the drug lord.

The next day, the officers receive a visit from an Yakuza boss, Tong Soo. He threatens to kill Kim in the event that they don’t bring him the drugs in exchange for information on the presidential candidate. Kim is terrified however he is left with no choice, and tells the cops to meet him at the Kuk Sa Tong nightclub. He meets Tong Soo who threatens to kill Kim if he doesn’t bring the drugs. They agree to offer him ten million dollars if the demands are met. Kim is freaked out by the thought of his life being spared, so Kim agrees to Tong’s demands.

A couple of days later, Kim and Tong get to the airport to collect Kimbo But they are stopped by Park Chul-sik. a south Korean national known for being fraudster. He pretends to be the president Chun Doo, and he swindles the Chinese people. He then runs away to Hong Kong but not before giving the president a seriously stretched face. With the help of Tong Soo, Kim and Kimbo travel to Hong Kong to deliver the money. They quickly become enemies and try to escape with the drugs. Chow assists them in escaping the airport with the drugs.

A year later, Kim and Tong return to Hong Kong to defend their honor against Park and his army of martial arts expert soldiers. However, they are betrayed by Park who is determined to use their newfound friendship to further increase his drug empire. Now, Kim must use his master Tong Soo to defeat the enemy and free the streets of Hong Kong from the clutches of Park and his cronies. In the meantime, the real enemy has arrived – Kim’s childhood friend Lee Doo SAM. Though initially a martial artist, Sam quickly falls to the influence of Park’s daughter. The film is extremely entertaining , with some fantastic fighting scenes and a few well-timed comedy scenes. It’s a well-written movie that has a lot of entertainment worth the price.
